Frozen In Time - A Winter Romance Package

Stand Up Paddle Board Adventure Package

Your experience paddling on the Miramichi River may have been in a canoe, kayak or a tube, and now, there’s a fun and easy new way to play on the river – a stand-up paddle board! Check into one of our comfy cottages for the weekend. Get fitted with proper safety gear, head down to the water for a brief lesson and safety overview and let the fun begin. Once you’ve perfected your stance, get ready for a fantastic day on the river. Take a break on any one of the many islands along the way. Later, return to your cottage, relax and watch the sunset as you contemplate your second day’s activity on the water. Canoes and kayaks are also available.

The Tail Wagger's Retreat

That's why now we are going above and beyond when you decide to treat your dogs to the Tail Wagger's Retreat.
Starting with a top of the line dog bed in the cottage/suite upon arrival so he/she will feel just as welcome as the rest of the family. Then, let your furry friends tag along on your river adventure with their very own tube. We've designed them specifically so your dogs will feel safe and both tube & dog will be protected! And no retreat is complete without a keepsake! In this case a stylish bandana for them to wear with pride as a reminder of that time they were "Ruffin it on the River" at Storeytown Cottages.

Autumn & The Great Outdoors
September 1st – November 1st
There’s no better time and no better place than autumn on the Miramichi. Get your paddling partner on board for one last paddle while the days are still warm but the crowds have gone home. We’ll drop you off with canoe, safety gear and bow pointed downstream…then away you’ll go! Paddle under the famous swing bridge while winding your way down the ever changing river. The fall colours will have you mesmerized so watch you don’t miss your stop! Step off your canoe and into your cottage. You may want to spend the evening on the porch but if the nights are chilly, you’ll be glad for the wood stove and hot tub!
The next day, take a hike to Fall Brook Falls– one of the area’s hidden gems. We’ll give you driving directions on where to access the trail and from there it’s a short but scenic hike down to the bottom of the 100ft falls.
